Infant Program

Our infant programs consist of quality care and individualized care for each child. We understand how important it is to care for infants, we promote a loving, nurturing, safe, educational and secure environment so our infants can grow and learn.

An individual Feeding Plan / Toileting plan and Educational plan is tailored for every infant.

Classical music such as Mozart, and Beethoven is played in our infant room to enhance the development of our infants.

Recent studies have been focused on the positive effects of classical music for early brain development. Classical Music helps stimulate and inspire a child's mind. The rhythms, melodies, and high frequencies found in classical music provide stimulation to encourage development of the brain.

Ratio
Our ratio for our infants is 1 teacher to 4 infants.

Age
We accept infants from 6 weeks to 24 months old.

Hours
Our infant room opens at 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday --Friday.

Potty Training

When our infant's shows a readiness for toileting, we implement a Toileting - Plan with parent participation.

Feeding

We request for parents to bring 5 pre-made bottles daily with the current date and name of infant. When your infant is ready for the various stages of baby food a feeding plan is developed by the teacher and the parent. Parents are notified daily of their child's daily intake and the time he/she was fed.

Diapers
We request parents to bring daily or leave diapers for their infants. Parent is given a daily report informing them of all diaper changes and time of diaper changes.

Program
A warm environment and positive interaction fosters an infant's sense of trust and self esteem. Daily routines and sensory experiences are used to promote listening and language skills, and to help infants learn about the world around them. Play activities and interactions focus on the development of large muscles for sitting, crawling, standing, walking and small muscles for grasping, reaching, holding, and picking up objects.

Communication
One of the most important goals of our program is daily communication with parents. At the beginning and end of each day our parents receive verbal and written highlights of their child's day. Parents are welcome at any time to observe, have lunch, or just to hug their child.
